Our Mission and Vision
TDM
Language College is a licensed institute that provides excellent language
training services.
Our
mission is to help Chinese people speak English freely, fluently, and
confidently. We know, as you know, that education enriches your life, and
speaking English will enable you to enjoy a brighter future. We commit to
this mission and have long term plan to pursue it. We will invest and open
schools around the country in next ten years.
We
understand the problems you have learning English, and we are problem
solvers willing to share our experience with you.
You
have studied English in school for years, but many of you have
difficulties using it. Although, you may have a strong knowledge of
English grammar and a large English vocabulary, you may still have
difficulties in listening and in speaking. The English you
studied from textbooks was studied simply for examinations. You know what
ˇ°exileˇ± means, but you may not know what ˇ°give me fiveˇ± means. You
seldom use your language skills.
We
believe language skills cannot be mastered from textbooks, or by being
taught passively. You must have intensive exposure to a real English
environment. You must be actively talking to native English speakers. You
should learn to understand what they are saying and learn to speak to
them, before learning grammar and writing.
We
know the problem and we know that you lack such an environment. So we are
here to help.
At
TDM, we create a real English environment for you. We use multimedia and
interactive computer programs to let you get used to what Westerners are
saying today. More importantly, you will have the chance to speak English
to native speakers several hours a week, in a very small group of students
- usually 3. The topics will include news
& the world today, weather & sports, business, TV series, shows,
movies, home living & food, family, friends & love, life &
nature, travel, culture & tradition, music, and whatever you like!!
